How to Respond to Negative Patient Reviews
Every physician with an online presence eventually gets a negative review. How to respond to negative patient reviews is a question of discipline, not...
A partnership for physicians and healthcare creators
You are the medical expert. You answer the questions, you teach, and you make complicated things easier to understand. Somewhere along the way you built an audience.
We help you build the business around it.
Studio Germina handles the side of your career that medical training never prepared you for: brand strategy, PR and media, partnerships, negotiation, commercialization, and the opportunities that take your expertise beyond the screen.
You stay the expert. We make sure the hours you already spend on this pay you back.
What happens after the audience
A following can create opportunities, but it doesn't tell you which ones are worth pursuing. A brand wants to work with you. A journalist wants a quote. Someone asks you to speak. Your inbox starts filling with partnership requests. Maybe you want to launch something of your own.
Those opportunities need strategy around them.
We help determine what fits your brand, what you're worth, what to say yes to, what to decline, and what opportunities we should be creating instead of waiting to arrive.
And sometimes the answer has nothing to do with social media.
How the partnership works
The division of labor is simple. You keep doing the part only you can do: the clinical expertise, the answers, the teaching, the content. We take the part you never wanted: positioning, marketing, brand deals, contracts, negotiation, pricing, follow-up, and the reporting that proves it worked.
The hours you spend online answering questions and posting useful content are real work. You would do it for free, and most physicians do. Our job is to make sure that time gets paid for, and paid properly, without turning you into a salesperson.
We select which opportunities to bring you, and we turn down the ones that do not fit. Every deal, campaign, and partnership has to line up with your brand, your ethics, your morals, and your vision for the work. If it does not, we say no on your behalf.
It is a partnership, not a vendor relationship. We do well when you do.
When an opportunity comes in, the question we ask is whether it moves you forward, not whether we earn on it. Some of the most valuable things we will recommend won't produce a check that month. A stage that pays less than it should but puts you in front of the right room. A relationship that takes a year to matter. A credential that changes what we can charge next time. We want to be able to evaluate those honestly, which is difficult to do when every recommendation has to justify itself commercially.
How we start
Most people come to us with an idea of what they need. A website. PR. Help growing an audience. Brand partnerships. More patients. Sometimes they're right. Sometimes the problem is somewhere else entirely.
So before we recommend anything, we look at what already exists. Your goals, audience, positioning, reputation, content, opportunities, business model, and the systems supporting them. We want to understand what you're building, what is already working, where things are getting stuck, and what would actually move you forward.
From there, we identify the priorities. What needs attention now, what can wait, what should work together, and what may not be worth pursuing at all. That gives us a strategy grounded in where you actually are rather than a package built around what we happen to sell.
Sometimes that leads to one focused project. Sometimes it becomes an ongoing partnership across several parts of the business. Either way, we start with understanding the problem before deciding what the solution should be.
What we believe
Clients deserve to understand why decisions are being made. Marketing functions should work together instead of operating as disconnected vendors who never speak to one another. Reputation, expertise, trust, audience, and intellectual property are business assets, and they should be treated that way.
Social reach and business value are different things. Growth in healthcare requires understanding credibility, patient behavior, professional reputation, and the business behind medicine, not just the channels on top of it.
And growth doesn't always require doing more. Sometimes the highest value decision available to you is deciding what not to do.
What makes this different
Social. Advertising. PR. Web. SEO. Content. Each of those is a discipline, and each is usually sold by someone who only sees their part of the picture. We look across the whole ecosystem: brand, audience, business model, revenue, reputation, content, search, patient acquisition, media, partnerships, commercial opportunity, digital infrastructure, team, and customer or patient experience. Then we determine how those pieces should work together.
Not every recommendation needs to create another Studio Germina invoice. If a specialist should handle something, we'll say so. If something should stay internal, we'll say so. If an initiative is premature, we'll tell you. If the data doesn't support an assumption, we'll explain it. If an opportunity doesn't fit your brand, we're willing to walk away from it, and if we see an opportunity you haven't considered, we'll bring it to you.
Our value isn't measured by how many marketing services we sell. It's measured by the quality of the decisions and the opportunities we help create.
Selected capabilities
Every engagement is built around what the client actually needs. These are the areas we work across.
Positioning, messaging, audience strategy, content direction, platform growth, brand architecture, and defining what the brand can become next.
Commercial positioning, opportunity evaluation, inbound management, pricing, negotiation, brand partnerships, contracts, usage rights, and long-term relationship development.
Media positioning, earned media, journalist relationships, expert source positioning, speaking, podcasts, interviews, and professional visibility beyond your own platforms.
Practice and business positioning, patient acquisition, search, reputation, referral strategy, commercialization, go-to-market strategy, conversion, and service-line growth.
How engagements work
We start by understanding what exists. That means assessing the business, the brand, the audience, the market, the data, the channels, the competitors, the infrastructure, and the challenges you're actually facing.
We determine what should happen next and explain why. Recommendations come with reasoning, priorities, expected impact, and the tradeoffs involved, because you should be able to evaluate the thinking rather than take it on faith.
When implementation belongs inside the engagement, we either do the work within our area of expertise or coordinate the right specialist. Implementation is always scoped explicitly. A strategic recommendation doesn't automatically include unlimited execution, and we'd rather be clear about that from the beginning than renegotiate it later.
Founder
Studio Germina is led by founder and growth strategist Giang Le (Yang Lé), who has spent more than a decade across marketing, brand strategy, growth, healthcare, content, PR, partnerships, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy.
She has built brands, grown audiences, led healthcare marketing, earned media coverage, developed partnerships, supported commercialization, and worked on both the creator and business sides of growth. That breadth is what shaped her approach today: growth rarely comes from one channel working in isolation. It comes from understanding how the pieces work together.
That is the philosophy behind Studio Germina. We look at the whole system around you: what you've built, what's working, what's missing, where there is untapped value, and where it could go next. Our role isn't simply to execute what you ask for. It's to be a strategic partner who brings a broader perspective, identifies opportunities you may not see from inside the business, challenges ideas when needed, and helps turn the bigger vision into something we can actually build.
If you know what you need, book a consultation and we'll talk it through. If you're less certain, which is more common than people admit, the Fit Quiz will help clarify what kind of support actually makes sense, and whether we're the right partner for it.
